In air of me later going to a friends house, with other friends in order for all of us to become *Spoilers* heroes (of the guitar variety), I realized that there aren't many other games that we play in this way and decided to make a top 5 on, you guessed it, party games (now, to qualify it just has to be able to be played as a party game, it's original intention doesn't matter):

Number 5:

As it's stated before, to qualify for this list all it has to have is the ability to be played as a party game and it's very simple to pick this one up, play, die, and pass the controler, you could be very inventive in the way you play, maybe have 2 people rotating on the same control and the ones with the most kills at the end win.

Number 4:

Wii sports, of wii sports resort, or wii fit or any other wii something game for that matter, they're simple games that you just pick up and play without any storyline or anything to make it complicated, a true game intended just to have fun

Number 3:

To start off the rythm games in this list, let's go with rock band, it's pretty good yes, but not the most prominent of the two collossi that now flood the market with quarterly games; Originally I felt the intention to put "Dj Hero" here, but that urge quickly went away

Number 2:

Here we go with the original party game: Mario party, an all around fun game in the style of board games, I really don't know why these aren't more popular and would very much enjoy it if my friends decided to get together to play these every now and then.

I didn't have space to include this game but it deserves a mention: New super mario brothers wii, for real enjoyment of this game, you have to play it with three friends and let me tell you, the antics, shenanigans and hillarity that will ensue are an experience you can't go without.

This one we all knew was comming (Mainly because of the spoilers at the beginning) but it was after all the inspiration to write this list. What can I say? Guitar hero is currently the epitome of party games... but seriously, more mario party.
