Tales of one with time: Entry No. 21

The professor in charge of our computer lab at my school noticed that my group of friends was really the seccion of the room that shows any respect towards his class, that we do his work hastily but well (very much superiorly to the rest of them) and other such behaviours, so when we asked him for permision to install a LAN server in his lab, without hessitation he accepted and even provided some assistance.

So, What game could it possibly be that this group of young, handsome geniouses decided to play? *SPOILERS* (as if the picture didn't already reveal it) well, Minecraft of course; Now, you may think "well, minecraft has weak graphics, no goal and is really simplicstic", Nuts to you.

As of now, the real purpose of this blog: Why minecraft is cool. This is a very simple answer in an equally simplistic game... subjectively of course, what do I mean? I mean that minecraft is what you make of it, you can simply punch trees all day and get nowhere just as you can go and build an empire worthy of the great caesar of Rome during it's glory days, you can go and build the most intricate contraptions, you can create a simplistic computer within the game with the resourses available if you want to.

I expose these such points of view in respect of this game, because just as it has a strong fanbase that can give minecraft the love it deserves, it also takes a lot of hate, without reason. Just as the rest of us can enjoy a game of COD every now and then, appreciate it's superior graphics and complex goal driven gameplay, it's nice to have an alternative where you're not doing something because you were told to but because that is what you wanted to do with the game.

P.S. Graphics aren't the measurement of wheather a game is good or not, they're more of an extra.
